Sorenson 9th and Ash

Sorenson has spent his life trying to outrun the ghosts of 9th & Ash — but the street remembers. When Mara crashes back into his world, carrying her own wreckage and a truth she can’t swallow anymore, the two of them are forced into a slow, dangerous reckoning. What begins as a reluctant reunion becomes a raw excavation of trauma, loyalty, and the kind of love that doesn’t heal so much as haunt.Together they navigate the quiet violence of small‑town living: the rumors, the history everyone pretends not to know, the wounds that never got the dignity of closure. As Sorenson confronts the past he buried and the future he never believed he deserved, Mara must decide whether she’s come home to rebuild — or to burn the last bridge between them.Sorenson: 9th & Ash is mythic‑surreal realism rooted in bruised hearts, second chances, and the stubborn hope that even broken people can choose something better.
