In this issue, I had the opportunity to interview Dana Rone, Newark’s Central Ward Councilwoman, and found her to be as down-to-earth as they come, although misunderstood by many — even myself. After this interview, I have vowed to support her in her desire to better educate our children. She is a beautiful woman inside and out, courageous and bold with a well thought out plan. She has the ability and vision to one day even be mayor of this city. If Council President Mildred Crump is the queen of the City Council, then for sure, Dana is the princess.
