Sally

I wrote this collection of poems throughout my childhood and into my teens and early twenties, they spanned part of my young life when I was struggling to find my own strength and character. This book is the second or third incarnation of this particular collection of poetry. the first was hand typed and cut and stuck into a hard backed book one Christmas Eve as a gift for my parents, who were and remain as ever, one of my greatest supports. I make no bones about it, I do not pretend to be a great writer but these poems reflect a difficult adolescence, one which (despite my faults) I remain proud of, if only for the creativity and spirit I see retrospectively in myself, and the value I have since found therein.
