Barry Young was on his way home to avoid a thunderstorm until he noticed some activity in the distance in the hills near where he lived. Suddenly two bolts of lightning struck down hitting each other creating a portal. He ventured to the top of a hill to get a better look at it. Once he touched the portal, he got pulled in. Barry found himself flying through time and landed to an unknown year in the future. Although he is in the same area but unfortunately the world has changed. It was a toxic desert wasteland with no life in sight. What’s worst is he got thrown far from the portal and now must venture back to return his present time. But he’s not alone. A machine surfaces from an underground crack begins hunting him. Now Barry must try and avoid being killed by the last of what wiped out all life as well as get to the portal before it closes.
