A Country Affair

Anti-globalisation protests come to a quiet corner of rural Berkshire. For generations the Roxley-Smythe family has been the very heart of the village of Kinford. The family is renowned for its arrogance, the genetically inadvisable proximity of its marital unions and the remarkable sexual appetite of its womenfolk. When Peter Roxley-Smythe organises an illegal anti-globalisation demonstration for thousands of his fellow students, this sleepy part of the world becomes the focal point for anarchy and disorder. With a demented and unreasonable local policeman hell-bent on using the protests for his own purposes and a violent drug dealer looking to grow his business in the area, chaos rapidly ensues. This preposterous romp through the English countryside witnesses the bovine attempts of PC Wills to impress his superiors, the deployment of a vicious and misguided SWAT team on an unsuspecting public and some of the more esoteric perversions of members of the landed gentry and their staff.
