Liberation Therapy is a self-development method for evaluating ourselves and our lives in the present moment. It raises our awareness of the emotions and experiences that we lived in our childhood and shows us how they continue to influence our adult life. We are therefore not emotionally free, as we are constantly trying to avoid the experiences that we previously found unpleasant. Ironically we find ourselves living the same experiences that we do not like over and over again. It often seems that we are constantly attracting the situations and experiences that we are actively trying to avoid! How then can we become emotionally free and choose to live consciously with a sense of inner purpose? Liberation Therapy guides us through an inner process to transform our emotions and past experiences into a driving force for self-discovery and personal development. It allows us to discover our authentic self, our inner capabilities and our sense of purpose. This book is aimed at all those seeking to be more self-aware, improve their interpersonal skills and relationships as well as discover an inner sense of purpose and fulfilment. The author Sheikh Aly N'Daw is a Sufi Master from Senegal who promotes nonviolence and peace around the world. He is Head of the International Sufi School, School of Peace and Service. He has also initiated peacebuilding and community development projects in Senegal based on principles of nonviolence.
