Matthew 24 is known as that go-to part of scripture when it comes to eschatology as it that has been debated in the last 300 years with regards to its interpretation. It is unarguably the foundation to build an eschatological stance about the kingdom of God. Many see it as the end of the world, some the Jewish world, and some believe it's the prophecy for both of them. As one would already know, your eschatology forms your lens about the agenda of God's kingdom on earth. This book examines the historical background of Jesus' prophesy, commonly referred to as the Olivet discourse, as well as the prophetic language that was used also considering the original audience. It is a verse by verse commentary that will help develop a good bible study teaching material with the aim to simplify what seems complex to understand from a layman's point of view especially from the lens of God’s grace towards us based on Jesus finished work at the cross.
