“After 26 years of photography, I’ve learned how to switch between my photographer’s eye and just living in the moment. I don’t constantly see the world through the lens anymore — and honestly, I think that balance helps me stay fresh when I do pick up the camera. When I’m working, I’m fully engaged, ready to see the stories unfolding around me. But when I’m with family or just out living life, I’m okay with switching it off. I think it’s in that space, when I’m not actively looking, that inspiration often sneaks in."
