‘Whimsical Magazine, Tales Of Portraits... Whimsical Magazine is a new independent fortnightly publication aiming to highlight and sublimize portrait photography in all its forms, envisioned as a work of art. Additionally to awesome and unique editorial or commercial portraits, every issue will consist of interviews and articles spotlighting talents, from every part of the world, who will inspire every photography and image enthusiast and stimulate you to excel in your art, in order to make you live your passion more completely. Passion, creativity, emotion and audacity are our 4 watchwords. Aline Marie is the photographer behind the lens. She’s a passionate self-taught photographer who started her journey with the purchase of her first camera on her first salary, in 2008 : ‘Guided by my passion and surrounded by photographer friends, I learned the basics of this art by myself and thanks to their support.’ Aline’s journey then took her to Spain, where she worked as a film photographer. It was there that she was fortunate enough to have two French mentors (J.M. and V.) who gave her valuable knowledge and technical skills. In September 2018, in Barcelona, with a great team of international photographers, Aline followed a magnificent training led by Ana BRANDT, one of the references in newborn, pregnancy and family photography. ‘Capturing life’s precious moments, from the first moments of pregnancy to the arrival of a newborn, to joyful family reunions, is my passion. As a mother of two today, I understand the importance of seizing those fleeting moments to cherish them forever.’ To start from scratch, Aline’s journey in photography began as she was juggling the challenges of motherhood. It was a time of rediscovery, where every moment shared with her children inspired my creativity and reinforced her belief that every family deserves timeless memories to cherish forever and for generations to come. Specializing in birth, pregnancy, and family photography, she particularly enjoys creating images in her studio, where light and décor are carefully selected to highlight each subject. Her home studio is located in Veneux-les-Sablons, only 1 minute from Moret-sur-Loing, 15 minutes from Fontainebleauand she also travels throughout the Seine-et-Marne department (77) as well as in Paris and the entire Paris region, subject to travel expenses, from 20 km beyond the surroundings of Moret-sur-Loing.
