Introducing Kasia...
Kasia is the photographer behind the lens.
Her passion for photography has been her lige companion for many years.
Indeed, her photographic journey began during ger travels and trips, where she wanted to capture beautiful moments and beautiful places. But thanks to her professional versatility and her curiosity, Kasia quickly developed the desire
to discover other types of photography. First, her love for nature pushed to shoot landscapes.
‘I have always liked nature and I liked spending time behind the house in a nearby meadow,
where I made wreaths of flowers and watched the clouds moving in the sky. (...)
I was looking for beautiful, picturesque places in the immediate vicinity.
The first of these places was and still is the Rogalin Landscape Park, with beautiful old oaks,
located on the Warta River near Poznań in Poland. The wilder, the more beautiful to my «photographic eye».’
Then, Kasia got interested in macro and nature photography. Thus, Around 2015, she decided to take a photography course to take more conscious photos and also bought a more professional camera, a DSLR camera. But the turning point was completing her studies at the Wielkopolska School of Photography.
‘This school was different from my previous perspective on photography. Homework required creativity
to interest the lecturer. At first, it was difficult for me, but over time, I began to find my place in this artistic world.’
Thus, through this academic experience, Kasia came up with shots in which she was both a model and a photographer, which, given her shyness, was a real challenge.
‘Since I was shy, it was difficult for me to go out and photograph people, and the tasks at school had to be completed.
It has stayed with me to this day. I still take self-portraits, but I am slowly taking pictures of people.’
