Whimsical Magazine is a new independent fortnightly publication aiming to highlight and sublimize portrait photography in all its forms, envisioned as a work of art. Additionally to awesome and unique editorial or commercial portraits, every issue will consist of interviews and articles spotlighting talents, from every part of the world, who will inspire every photography and image enthusiast and stimulate you to excel in your art, in order to make you live your passion more completely. Passion, creativity, emotion and audacity are our 4 watchwords. Marlena Kasprzak is the photographer behind Dreams Factory Photography. She’s a fine-art, wedding and portrait photographer sharing a passion for capturing true emotions and love to create photographs that hold the memories, not just of what you see, but of what you feel. ‘I have had the great honour of photographing across the globe, creating timeless, authentic imagery for my clients- capturing all the beauty, love and adventure which encompasses special days to be cherished for generations to come.’ (Marlena) Her portrait sessions take place in her cosy private studio in Pathhead, UK - just 15 minutes away from Edinburgh. For her first special edition, Marlena decided to focus on her collaborative work with the charismatic, elegant and devoted Veronika Walker, Ms. Great Britain finalist 2023. As part of her competition commitment, Veronika has chosen to proudly support 2 fabulous charities : Cancer Research UK and Alex’s Wish. ‘There are so many charities out there doing incredible work to help those who really need it. We all have different causes that strike a chord with us. We make a difference when we choose to donate, no matter which charity or how much.
