I am a Comedy Poet from Merseyside England. I have found that most traits and attitudes, when observed, will leak a little laughter, fetch a fragment of fun, or just sneak a sly smile. Few people can say that they don't raise a grin at innapropriate times. For instance, the old lady tripping up ,or some heroic exploit that goes sadly wrong.I am 'the poet in the corner'.That sad little being who comits such things to rhyme, and takes the time and effort to emphasise human failings with all the savagery and cynicism that they don't really deserve. Please feel free to view my work at: www.poetrypoem.com/asiseeit . Merseyside has a rich diversity of people and cultures. Our humor finds its roots in the ability to laugh at ourselves before others.I have also included a selection of more serious poetry. This is my first publication, and I hope that you enjoy the ramblings of a 'Mad Merseyside Poet'. The cover picture is of Rock Park Gates in Rock Ferry (circa 1960s) painted by my late father Jim Stirk
