The Legacy Ridge is a personal salute to one soldier of many who served with honor in the 10th Mountain Division during World War II. Along with autobiographical experiences —growing up in the soldier's shadow— the author includes details from the exploits of the world-famous soldiers on skis, as they emerged victorious, fighting their German adversaries in Northern Italy in 1945.
