Ineffable Light

My paintings show the integration of human life and historical space through time. The background represents the venue for all moments or actions of human life. The human figure represents a moment of contradictory action in space. For example: true and false, happiness and anger, simplicity and humor. A variety of facial expressions are featured in my work; round open eyes, slanted eyes, suspicious eyes, calmly closed eyes, or playful eyes are matched with a silently smiling eyes, an angry eyes, or a long nose or round nose. “I try to infer the past from present life and convey the purity of human nature. ”As an architect, I work with design of space and form to help one experience the relationship between human life and place in time. “I try to interpret how the past relates to the present.”
