Color names are taken from the second printing (January, 1952) of Descriptive Color Names: A Supplement to the Third Edition of the Color Harmony Manual, edited by Helen D. Taylor, Lucille Knoche and Walter C.Granville and published by the Container Corporation of America. The photograph of the sky was taken by the artist on June 30, 2007 at 7:34pm outside his family’s home in Lutz, Florida. February 7, 2009
