Rowan County, NC - Ejectments (1791-1881)

*** NEW FOR 2020 *** - This is a large collection of Ejectment records for Rowan County. It includes a few Salisbury Town Lots, as well as one in Gold Hill Town Lot. Many of the records I included a computer generated plat - as this collection or original records did not have many plats (actually just one on the cover). There are a LOT of NC Supreme Court Rulings pertaining to land ownership in this collect - more than I have seen in other counties.It includes one pertaining to Statute of Elizabeth - which is interesting. Book is indexed by name (Last, First) as well as rivers and other key index items (deceased, death, mill etc.) IN ALL MY years of transcribing this is the MOST difficult collection to read - some real nasty handwriting.
