To the world he is Alan Armstrong, playboy and air ace. Armstrong saw with great concern that spies had come across the ocean and infiltrated American society, so he created the costumed hero SPY SMASHER! Throughout the war he fought against all those who would destroy democracy! After the war he continued to fight crime as Crime Smasher. He appeared in many Golden Age books: Whiz Comics, America's Greatest, and his own comic title. This series presents a challenge - many of the early scans available are low-resolution fiche and barely readable if at all. Also, a few of the early issues are not public domain; so this collection is far from complete. The stores we have chosen are from paper scans and the best currently available – we are always looking to update, and if you can help, contact us!
