Intro to Android Vision Processing - With Lego NXT Robot Examples

The goal of this book is to introduce vision processing using an Android device. To do this, we will cover the basics of Android programming as well as vision processing. We will also cover using Bluetooth communication, NXT programming using leJOS and introduce you to using Eclipse as an Integrated Development Environment (IDE). We believe individuals learn best by doing, so the book provides step by step guidance and example programs that can be run on your own Android device. Eclipse project files for all of the examples covered in this book can be obtained by contacting the authors. This book is aimed at beginners to Android programming and/or vision processing. Individuals need not be familiar with Android programming, vision processing or NXT programming using leJOS. Basic Java programming and Eclipse knowledge are assumed.
