This Is My Story

I was born on Friday the 13th, and before I was old enough to understand how quickly life could change, I was already learning what it meant to lose someone. Since then, my life has taken me through farms, motels, countless moves, changing schools, complicated family relationships, unexpected responsibilities, and moments that forced me to grow up much earlier than I expected. For years, stability never seemed to last long enough for me to get comfortable. But this isn't only a story about what happened to me. It's about what I chose to do next. At eighteen, I'm finishing high school, learning how to support myself, rebuilding relationships, figuring out love and independence, and beginning to decide what I want my own future to look like. I don't have a perfect ending to give you, because my life isn't finished. This is simply my story so far.
