Short, powerful essay on the emotion of race at UVA. "A visit to Jefferson's University is a walk through the turn-of-the-century South, where poplar trees bear a peculiar fruit and the roots of tradition strangle the buds of progress." This is the most difficult work Hypocrite Press prints, and perhaps the one of which we are most proud.
