Bite of Washington

Take a bite out of Washington the next time you visit. Visitors immerse themselves into local foods and culture specific to an area and often want to take home more information. Washington State works its way into people’s hearts and kitchens with its diverse and interesting dishes offered at local food festivals. Bite of Washington is the working title for my fourteen chapter travel guide and cookbook. Each chapter will feature one month, five food festivals, and fifteen recipes. Words and photos describe each local festival. Basic event information will be listed and followed with recipes reflecting the event. Local, professional chefs, friends, family, local businesses, and myself, have donated recipes to this collection. This makes it possible for tourists to replicate what they loved during their visit.
