Idunna #105

IDUNNA #105 (Autumn 2015) was our theme issue of "Valhalla", the realm where slain warriors go after death in Norse mythology. John Mainer examines the mythological concept of Valhalla and what it might mean for modern-day warriors. We also have a translation by Ben Waggoner of a n Old Norse tale of brave warriors indeed: a portion of Hálfs saga, or the Saga of King Half and his Warband, John Mainer additionally contributes a piece on the modern ritual of sumbel. We feature poetry from Eirik Westcoat, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jennifer Milby, a short story from Steven T.
