Torn Between Two Lovers

David Duval, a divorced Caucasian male from Europe in his mid forties, works as a financial adviser and enjoys his single life as an expat in the Philippines. He meets and is interested in a young Filipina who is reluctant to respond to the advances of the much older foreigner. They enter into a lively exchange of emails to get to know each other before deciding to date. This foreplay gives the man an opportunity to share some life lessons and candid comments on Philippine society. The tender feelings he develops for her remind him of his youth and she is also slowly taken by his charm. However, other players emerge and before they can develop a serious relationship, a crisis erupts, leaving behind a sadder and wiser man.
