Ocarina Repertoire Volume 1 (C Edition)

This book is the first in a new series of repertoire books for the ocarina. It aims to provide music for those who have moved beyond the initial learning stages. The pieces can be played on almost any ocarina, pendant or transverse, with 5 or more holes. Starting with traditional folk songs from around the world, the book moves through famous classical solos and duets, ending with a complete arrangement of Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. The arrangements presented here are all released under the Creative Commons Attribution licence, allowing you to freely share, adapt and perform the music without requiring payment or special permission. The book is available both in print and as an ebook - the content is identical in both formats. This edition is intended for ocarinas in the key of C, with F ocarinas used for some of the harmony parts. For musicians with ocarinas in D and G (such as the Langley pendant ocarinas), a separate edition is available with the same pieces arranged in those keys.
