*****
Set in Greece in 2025, the story begins when Leon Vantos meets soft-spoken and dreamy Cassia Myrren, Nico Damaris (he’s hot-headed, loyal and born into a long line of beast-tamers. Peeko, his pet griffin, sits on his shoulder) and smart and sceptical Iris, the half-mortal daughter of a forgotten Oracle. They are all students at the Aetheros Academy.
Leon has many fantastic adventures with his new friends as he explores Aether, an island in the sky.
In The Glyph in the Glass, Book 1 in the series, the Core Four meet their teachers and undergo several scary trials.
In The Curse of Echo, Book 2, the friends accidentally unlock a sealed chamber awakening a forgotten creature, and Cassia starts seeing futures that contradict fate.
Fire in the Labyrinth, Book 3 describes a frightening battle. It also shows the importance of memory. Niko has to make an important choice.
In Book 4, The Hollow Moon Pact, Cassia vanishes during a blood moon. Leo uncovers a pact between the Titans and the myth-borns that threatens the entire Academy.
We hope you enjoy practising your English skills with Leon and friends in this new adventure!
