Reflections on the Road

Beginning in May 2009, Vicki Pinkerton (mother, grandmother, life coach, writer, dreamer) left her life behind. She arranged her life, her family, and her very modest bank account so she could hit the road alone for an undetermined amount of time to fulfill a lifelong ambition - exploring the idea of community in the context of discovering Canada. Within these pages we follow the course of her travels as she connects with individuals, communities and her country. But the biggest surprise of her journey is discovering what can't be left behind.
