Black Boots, Green Suits is a story about women going through basic training prior to the Persian Gulf War. This is the first play in a three part series. In this first part, the women change from civilian clothes to black boots and greens suits, learning what it means to be a women in an army designed by and for men and what it means to wear the uniform.
The women journey through eight weeks of training and by the end of this journey much happens in their personal world and in the world around them.
