Intrepid and all around lovable Irishman Hackney McTrite comes to life in this short story collection. The 12 stories are gleaned from my multi-plotted PI adventures. Therefore, if you read this book you won’t be cheated appreciably when you read the published books. The stories are entertaining. You will enjoy the read. You will want more. You will experience emotions that'll leave you in stitches or tears in your eyes. The question has been asked, was Hackney McTrite ever young? Yes he was, and he had a mother. But he had no sisters and brothers. One Hackney was enough for the McTrites. I endowed him with a photographic memory. Brains come out of his Yahoo. He may become a folk hero and household word in my time. I’m hopeful.
