Jungle Jottings 1945

With the end of the Second World War in Europe, the British Army switched its focus to the Far East and the inevitable invasion of Japan. Eager to capitalise on existing experience against the Japanese, the War Office abridged the Indian Army's 'Jungle Omnibus' as 'Jungle Jottings' in order to kick start theatre-specific training.
