What does it mean to know something before anyone else has recognized it as knowledge?
In My Name Is Nobody — Knowledge, Nobody sits with an open book in his hands, yet the real subject begins beyond the page. Knowing may arise through study, experience, memory, intuition, embodiment, measurement, dialogue, or correction. None of these sources is dismissed, and none is allowed to become absolute.
Across nine chapters, Knowledge examines what happens when knowing meets recognition, measurement, uncertainty, error, memory, and the temptation to possess truth. A score may reveal something without measuring the whole mind. An expert may know much without knowing everything. Personal experience may carry privileged access without becoming infallible. Even a confident insight must remain answerable to reality.
Nobody is therefore neither the heroic outsider nor the institutional knower. He can learn from authority and question it, recognize what he knows and say I do not know, correct others and be corrected himself.
Knowledge becomes less a possession than a living relation between person, world, language, evidence, memory, action, and other minds.
The book may close. The relation does not have to.
Book 1 of the five-volume My Name Is Nobody series.
