In "Ordination" we attempt to provide a loving yet clear and compelling call to the church to restore the biblical process for placing qualified, gifted men in the pastoral office. Jesus established the pat-tern as he chose and trained His men. The early church embraced and followed that same pattern. In short, the goal of this book is to give the local church a tool for identifying, recognizing, evaluating, preparing and authorizing gifted, qualified & desirous men for pastoral ministry. May Jesus Christ, the Lord of the church and Great Shepherd of the sheep, help us rediscover and restore the biblical process to the context of the local church.
