Life is a rhapsody – it is irregular in form, and you always have to improvise. You might think this is a depressing analogy, but hey... anything you can jam to can’t be all bad. Kate arrives home from her signing tour, wanting for life to get back to normal. Nancy and Paul discover a mutual love of baseball, and the Circle Band gets a last-minute job as the emergency backup band for an obnoxious pop star’s tour of east Asia. All goes well until the band is separated from Michelle on the way home and the Department of Minor Nuisances attempts the difficult task of bringing their accounts current. Now it is up to the band to make their own travel arrangements, any way they can, hoping that the musician’s credo – What happens on the road STAYS on the road! – will be the only thing that does not make it home.....
