If Damien had to describe Kimberly in one word, it would be “spoiled.” Or possibly, “hyper-active overachiever, who is also the bossiest person on the planet.” Kimberly doesn’t like Damien either, but she doesn’t exactly hate him. She might go with “frenemies without friends,” or “angry acquaintances.” But when their mutual friend goes missing from his own murder mystery party, Kimberly and Damien finally agree: This isn’t like John. Not like him at all. Their separate search efforts come up empty. Can they find John together? Can they find each other along the way?
