Evie read the words carved into the stone: I roar without a mouth, I burn without a flame. I sleep for years, Then play a deadly game. What am I? "A volcano!" Evie exclaimed, remembering a documentary her dad loved. The stone door rumbled open, revealing intense heat. The heat hit Evie's face like an oven door swinging open. The volcano rumbled under her feet, sending tiny rocks tumbling down the path. In front of her, the lava glowed bright orange, bubbling and crackling like it was laughing at her.
