This short story is about Pich Pekhtra, an extraordinary Cambodian young woman whose struggle from poverty I have aided in a small kindness that changed the lives of the many orphans & poor relations she supports. Her fierce spirit & generosity towards others despite her own poverty has changed the way I see the world. I am sharing this story from my memoirs in hopes that others can find inspiration too.
