Wild Hearts, Run Free

When a young foal loses his herd to ruthless rustlers, he’s left to wander the plains alone, until he crosses paths with Quint Weston, an orphaned boy with a quiet strength and a heart full of hope. Quint names him Buckshot, and together they forge an unbreakable bond that will carry them through the trials of youth and into the dust and glory of the open range. As boy and horse grow into a cowboy and his steed, they join a cattle drive that leads them to Kai, a fierce and graceful Native woman with a spirit as untamed as the land, and a horse named Silver who runs like the wind. Love blossoms, but the past is never far behind. When the rustlers who shattered Buckshot’s world return, vengeance calls. But in a land where justice rides on horseback and freedom is earned with every gallop, Buckshot must choose between revenge and the purity of his soul.
