Alex Toth is included in discussions of the list of best all-time comic book artists, though his talent went far beyond the paneled page. Toth (1928-2006) included in his impressive resume animation design on some of the most popular cartoon in America, newspaper strips, and television art director. His career covered seven decades, one of the masters of the early days who remained a busy master in his later days.
