We are the largest publisher of Classic American Comics is the world! This is measured not by the sales, but by the number of available books in print, which right now is over 9,200. The books we publish are public domain, which means that the copyright has expired or there was no valid copyright to begin with. We own it -- also, you own it, everyone owns it, which is what public domain (PD) is! Our focus is on Golden Age Comics (1939-1956 with a smattering through to 1963), but you can also find science-fiction, westerns, pulps, adult magazines, childrens' books, pop culture and almost any other type of publication under the sun. We have three major brands:.....
GWANDANALAND COMICS - The best, heaviest, glossiest paper available and the premium ink/print process - essentially the best that you can get of that title, in paperback or hardcover. Our B&W books use the premium process......
MIDCENTURY COMICS - Our most popular line right now, using a heavy glossy white stock and a standard color ink/print process which produces a great book; many MIDCENTURY books are priced at half than their GWA counterparts, in paperback and hardcover......
ZAPP COMICS are a budget comic. We use the most economical paper, the most economical print process, paperback formatting process, and a reduced royalty, to create a book that is entertaining and worth having on your shelf, but is as low cost as they can be made. THE ZAPP LINE are books you will be proud to own.
