About
George Snyder

George Snyder was born in Pittsburgh, grew up in Ohio, learned a lot living in New York, and moved to L.A. for the weather. In New York he was entrusted with the care and instruction of young girls before moving on to a career in the auction business, cataloguing rare books. In L.A. he found himself working in television for the creator of a show about a young girl who slays vampires. There's a pattern here if you look closely. These days he does other things to stay out of trouble. Snyder contributed to the late John Preston's "Hometowns: Gay Men Write About Where They Belong" (Dutton, 1991). He writes a blog, "1904: The Year Everything Important Happened," (http://georgesnyder.org) and can be reached at [email protected]
