The Vale of Evesham Historical Society (VEHS) is dedicated to promoting, preserving, researching and publishing books and papers about this beautiful, fascinating, and ancient part of England. Publication is just part of the broad mix of activities which the Society pursues. Since 1951 the Society has acted as the honorary curator of Evesham's museum (helping restore the building, collect the artefacts, arrange and display that collection, promote and manage the museum). There are dedicated teams looking after local history displays, undertaking local research, and contributing to our in-house magazine. An archaeology section was recently (re)formed!
