Franklin Pire is a composer, pianist, arranger, pedagogue and a Venezuelan music theorist graduated from the Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in the city of Kiev, Ukraine in 1996 with a Master degree in Fine Arts. His composition studies at the Kiev Conservatory started with Lev Kolodub and later continued with the Ukrainian composer Maryna Denisenko, counterpoint and fugue with the master Genady Lyashenko, theory and composition systems with the composer Victoria Poleva orchestration with Lapinski Yakov Naumovích, forms and analysis with the teacher Nikolai Drenmliug. He has composed several works for choirs, instrumental ensembles, and orchestras like the incidental music for the Dickens classic A Christmas Story, with an adaptation of the libretto by Hilba D'Or; El Camarón Encantado, the first written operetta in the musical history of Zulia; the concerto for piano and orchestra Concerto Grosso and Don Quixote - symphonic poem.
