I graduated from Pueblo West High School in Colorado, and went to college at PCC & Intellitech. I had a hard time staying in college due to the head injury that slowed me down, and was making me have a hard time learning things at a certain pace. I felt like giving up, but I knew I always wanted to write. I started writing ''The Batemans'' as a hobby not thinking of publishing it. However I worked on it for too long to just toss it after I finished it, where I felt I needed to publish it. I looked around for many publishing companies, however I couldn't find one that impressed me until I found lulu. They let me publish my novel for free where I was able to at least get a start something I have been looking for. I thank God everyday for guiding me to complete this task and find a website that allowed me to publish the novel to start my writing career.
