Deux Voiliers Publishing is an initiative to promote novelists who have a desire to combine beauty with an examination of human nature. The initiative's first novel is Soldier, Lily, Peace and Pearls or La Galaxie des lumières tardives (the galaxy of the late lights) by Quebec author Con Cú. It is a passionate tale of individuals overcoming trauma to be redeemed through the kindness and love of others. Three new authors have joined the initiative. They are Chris Turner, a prolific fantasy and sci-fi writer, Brendan Ray, whose passion for Turkey is only matched by his literary talent as one of Canada's up-and-coming writers of historical fiction, and Stephen Lorne Bennett, whose novel, the Lost Ninth is a skillful blend of the detective and historical fiction genres.
