“I realized early on that I found solstice in creating art and writing. These are the tools that I use to express my creativity. They are the means in which I celebrate the wonderful world we live in! I can’t remember a time in which I was not writing! After getting my first camera it seemed natural to try to match the pictures with words that were also inspired. My burning passion from that point on was to capture the beauty that I see and be able to represent it in such a way that the viewer feels the awe as well. I want my final rendition to result in not only a written but a visual poetry that weaves hidden words, lines, dramatic color and textures. I am a firm believer in giving back, whether it be through volunteer work, or by sharing my creativity.
