Mrs. Hima-Buli is Albanian native, who started the violin when she was six and a half years old at the Music School in Tirane. These years she studied with teachers such as Proletare Skenderi, Flora Klimi and Ilirjana (Gonxhe) Sheri. She continued her studies in Bucharest, Romania where she had Master-classes and lessons with Stefan Georgiu and Serban Dimitrie Soreaunu. She got her Masters Degree in Performance from the Boston Conservatory, where she was mentored by Ronan Lefkowitz (BSO) and Judith Eisenberg of the Lydian string Quartet, and later, Virginia Neikrug and Kelly Barr. As a teacher, she has been using this book with her students very successfully. Her student progress quickly and become very soon advanced players in their school orchestras and youth orchestras. This method for sure does not linger unnecessary. Many of her former teachers do recommend the use of this book.
