Derek is an Internationally published and Award Winning tattoo artist. A very versatile artist who prefers to work on, and is sought out for his larger, multi session Japanese inspired tattoos. He was the owner and operator of Fleshworks Custom Tattoo Studio. An award winning studio located in Victoria, BC, Canada for 14 years. One of the most publicized tattoo studios in Canada known for the high calibre tattoos and artists working there. The studio was awarded “Nicest Tattoo Studio” 2 years in a row by the National Tattoo Association. Derek spent much of his career traveling, tattooing at countless Tattoo Conventions across Canada and the US. Numerous feature interviews/articles have been published on Derek in almost every major international tattoo magazine, and has work published consistently monthly.
