John is author, philanthropist, inventor, musician, and supporter of non-profit groups. John is known as both VCDX-001 and as an enabler of infrastructure design architects, and is currently Staff Solutions Architect at VMware. This is the sixth book that John has worked on and is also the first in the IT Architect series by IT Architect Resource, LLC. John has served as Vice President of the USENIX Association Board of Directors for 3 terms (6 years), and is co-chair for the USENIX LISA'16 conference.
