Ghada Khoraych
Ghada Khoraych is a Toronto-based freelance writer. She holds a Master’s degree in sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and works in the health promotion field. Her love of writing grew from a young age, when she first learned to read and experienced the transformative power of fiction. Throughout her youth, writing was therapeutic and liberating, and her essays and short stories won acclaim in local writing contests. Ghada self-published her first collection of poetry entitled ‘Poems by Ghada’ in September, 2013. Her second collection of poems entitled ‘Inhale Exhale’ was self-published in December 2013. An avid blogger, Ghada has captivated audiences with her poetry and musings on life. Her blog was recently quoted in the February 2014 issue of Marie Claire magazine. Her writing explores themes of love, loss, society, mental health, and existential concerns. She’s passionate about these issues, and volunteers her time in support of them.
