I've always had a love of writing, especially lighthearted science fiction and rhyming poetry, liberally sprinkled with drollery. But my Muse has its own sense of humour. Like niggling at 3 a.m. when all I wanted to do was use the 'facilities' and go back to sleep. Instead, I am forced to open the computer and download from my loggy mind a chapter or two which couldn't wait for a more civilized hour to be transcribed. But on the bright side, I am that much closer to the finale, and get to be the first to read the story. Yes, I am an 'organic' writer. It is great fun to have the basic story evolve as you type it, and afterwards to flesh it out and put the final polish on it before offering it for your consideration and (hopefully) enjoyment.
