Survival in the 80's and 90's was never easy. I was troubled by the militarization and conflict in the world with the US always embroiled in one misadventure after another. I started my career as a college graduate in Electrical Engineering. But my conscience could not accept the mass murder carried out in the name of progress. So I dropped out of the engineering business and became at times the owner of a landscape and nursery business in the mountains of Virginia, a forester with the US Forest Service, and a teacher of Native English in Warsaw, Poland. I have never regretted my change of heart. In fact my heart has led me on this wild adventure called life.
